Indonesian Traditional Food Sauce Karedok Leunca

Sauce Karedok Leunca is one of the traditional food from Indonesia, especially from West Java excactly from Sundanese Tribe. The form of this food is an sauce that leunca (a kind of vegetable that has shape like a marble and has a little bitter taste) as the main material. The people from west java are always make the food from vegetables in many various and of course the best taste will be served, one of them is sauce karedok leunca.

Now I will explain the step how to make sauce karedok leunca
Materials:
  • Prepare Leuncas adequately, it based on your want
  • a half of garlic
  • salt adequately
  • Prepare one Terasi (shrimp paste), and then burn it untill the aromatic appear
  • Add palm sugar adequately
  • A half cm of sand ginger (kencur)
  • seven cayennes or based on you appetite.
Steps:
  1. To make a suce, input garlic, shrimp paste, palm sugar, salt, ginger, cayennes into a bowl and grind it untill dissolve.
  2. Mix leunca little by little, add kemanggi leaves and then grind it untill all of the material mixed.
This sauce karedok leunca is redy to serve. Usually it appropriate serve with rice stream or other menus, Have a nice try
